Activision Blizzard may be on the verge of making some hard choices as revenue has slumped 6.8% compared to last year. Some key indicators like EBITA is down close to 50%. Income from cash cow World of Warcraft continues to shrink while income from Call of Duty is down from the same period last year. Blizzard's most recent title, Diablo III, has not been reflected in the filing due to regulations associated with online income related to it's auction house.

The future according to Activision Blizzard looks bright. They predict an EBITA growth of 400% based on expectations from WoW expansion Mists of Pandaria, CoD Black Ops II and Skylanders Giants. Suspiciously missing from this short list was Starcraft II expansion Heart of the Swarm. This may be an indication of a 2013 release date.
