Blizzard Entertainment announced that their highly anticipated Diablo III hit gamers for six in it's debut week. Six million copies sold worldwide shattering the record for fastest selling PC game. 3.5 million in the first 24 hours. This does not include the 1.2 million bundled copies from the WoW year pass. This

Prior to release sales were forcasted at 5 million copies including the WoW year pass. Demand was so overwhelming Blizzard continues to struggle to provide a consistent level of service even a week after release.
