This week guild members of the Trinigamers guild (TnT) has the displeasure of logging on and seeing that they were NOT part of the guild. I was shocked and confused pressing 'G' to open up the guild interface and seeing that I was not part of a guild while only a hour earlier the guild was operating smoothly with no problems. This happened on September 11th, 2012 (quite a coincidence). Guild members were thrown into a panic and immediately messages and bug reports were sent to Arenanet support and the Guild Wars 2 forums. The guild was not deleted, but merely not visible. This was further confirmed by one of the Guild leaders Cid when he tried to recreate the guild and saw that the name Trinigamers was in use. It was discovered that there was a bug occuring in which guids had an internal error with their coding and as a result, Arenanet temporarily disabled the guilds. There were some members of the Trinigamers guild which were able to see the guild, but they said over forty members were not representing the guild.
After 4 days waiting and anxiety, a message was sent by one of the support staff of Arenanet explaining what happened with the guild interface reappearing several minutes after that. And that was how the infamous Trinigamers guild disappearance was fixed. Everyone was back in the guild, without having to be re-added, guild leaders were relieved and players could once again find each other in-game.
The guild bank is up and running allowing people to add and take out items as they see necessary. If there are any weapons, runes, sigils or items which you which to add to the bank, you are free to donate it. Likewise, if you are looking for items for your character, you are free to withdraw as necessary. It is expected that people would not exploit the guild bank and continue to add as regularly as they withdraw. Guild members also have the ability now to craft the guild emblem onto their armor.
As players become more famliar with the Guild Wars 2 engine and the game world reaching level 80 is gradually becoming less of a feat and more of a smooth transistion. With over 20 members with level 80 characters and creating new chracters to level up. But, one of the questions that keeps coming up to newcomers to the game is ... what is there to do after level 80. There are many things which will have you coming back to the game even after you have reached max level, that you'll wonder if you will ever have the time to do EVERYTHING! Here is a list that someone compiled of EIGHTY different things you can do at level 80.
Also Wooden Potatoes, a veteran in terms of Guild Wars lore and game mechanics, shares his thoughts on reaching end game.
The game in no way or form finishes at level 80. There's always something to do. Try it and see.
Looking forward to seeing you in game
