Growth Of Sand Nins compared to that of the Leaf

i find that in the time since the chuunin exams
the sand ninjas have grown 10X compared to the leaf ninja in skill level and fighting ability. Look at temari and kankurro blowing out tayuya and ukon/sakon
very simply where kiba and shikamaru was struggling and on the point of death..
what do u all think?

I think underestimation with respect to ukon\sokon and as tayuya said temari is her natural enemy.

Not to mention that kiba and shikamaru are two of the 'weaker' ninjas in the crew, their abilites are more recon (nose power) and leadership respectively.

If neji and naruto had to fight sakon or tayuya, that woulda be just 2 easy...

Hummm i was thinking this all the way through the recent battles on the retrieval of Sasuke.Because if you looked at it each and every one of the Shikamaru team was left to battle opponents that would either push them to their extreme abilities and/or have them at a disadvantage especially in relation to the type of distance fighter they are.Example Neji fought (cant remember his name-THE SPIDER DUDE) and he was a long range agility fighter whereas Neji is a close combat.Shikamaru had to fight against illusions and so blinding dis thoughts (his greatest abilty).
Kimimaro is speed and Naruto is cunning NOT speedy.So to me it was all dileberate.As for Kiba & Shikamaru being weaker.NO WAY!Each person has their ability and able to counter an opponent depending on the opponent.All a game of luck i figure at times.

he might not have as much power as chouji .... but shikamaru in my opinion was and has always been the most impressive konoha rookie, and now chunin.

btw. I vote for chouji. He definitely grew the most from the chunin exam to now. from gettin blow out by the first strike to destroying that big fat baaka jiroubu.
