Can anyone make personal reccs on a decent digital cam.
Must be small(pocketsize)
Can be used inconspicously
Be able to record semi decent video
Good enough for streaming internet services
Good pics(at least 4-5mpx)
For the picture galleries
Batteries...standard rechargable AAA/AA , and not battery packs..
Remember we're thinking mass production so the economies of scale prevail
Err what you want this for again? :p

The Canon A series is a safe bet.
I've used one and owned another, and I'm ordering a new one today. Check out the Canon A590, it's one of the newest releases and has been getting great reviews. It's also cheap at $150-$160, which is ironically less than the less advanced models that were released last year and are still on the market.
i think larry has one that he bought and needs to get rid of. Check him.

Hidden, the video is surprisingly good at 640x480. I was very impressed when I played my first recording on my monitor.
A 4 gig flash will get you about an hour of recording.
