Remember Microsoft's Surface demo? It's going to be included as an app in Windows 7.

Not much else was released about the mysterious new OS which is expected to be based on Vista. The demo was running on Windows 7.

xp was the rush "fix" for the mistakes of ME

i disagree with the above post. i believe ME was the rush OS to full the gap until XP came out.

Agreed also, XP was never rushed.

Windows 7 will find it difficult to break through as well IMO. I expect it to come loaded with these extras to lure users into the plunge. Hopefully by then the Vista underneath will be more stable, offer better performance and is better supported by third parties.

i usually get these things in early betas to test. so when microsoft ships it to me i'll let you guys know what i think.

that seems cool, to me vista is treated like windows ME in a way..lol just in that case the system restore thingy was somethign like what direct x 10 is now.. i think.. :confused:
