Tournament vs. Sweat

Could someone highlight me in the difference between a Tournament and a Sweet?

ie. in the forums they are in different categories...

a sweat is not a competition

Sweat - normal gaming session with friends, clan members etc no prizes involved or formal structure, sweat for however long period for fun mainly.

Tournament - serious business..uses a formal structure in the form of brackets, elimination style etc. when you lose your sweat buss also it usually has prizes.
