Microsoft will continue to allow PC retailers to sell "Ultra Low Cost Personal Computers" (ULCPC) with Windows XP. Mainstream technical support for XP will continue till April 2009 with limited techinal support provided till April 2014.

PC retailers will be able to sell ULCPC boxes with XP Home until June 2010 or one year after Windows 7, Vista's successor, is released.
