Well they already here, we just cannot purchase them as yet. They are expected to be quite cheap, and available within the next 2 years.

these could be pretty useful if they implemented some sort of redundancy system so that discs can be rebuilt like raid arrays.

but optical media are just too prone to corruption for me.

You completely confuse me there with that terminology...but what pric you think these mgiht go for jed
