TSTT Blink - Upgrade!

I heard certain areas got 'blinked'!! and got an automatic upgrade to 1mbit.

Did this occur in the 'blink' areas or nationwide?

my source in tstt said this is supposed to happen... the easiest way to tell if you're area is "blinked" is that u get a 1mb upgrade automatically.. however u must still apply for all other packages

well i have dsl my area is blink ready and i havent gotten upradged to 1mbit i'm on 250 not even 256!

have u applied for blink?... thats the only tru way to know if ur area blink ready yes :(

no i didnt apply i saw on papers that chaguanas was under the "blink" ready areas, i call a csr and he said yes it is blink ready and the upgrades are automatic. i.e. you need not apply for blink he told me in about 4-6weeks and well i just saw this post and wondered.

but i live in chag too.. and blink eh reach yet... even if u apply for a higher package u wont get tru (they said by yrs end it should be dere) which goes with what ur csr told u...

well home by me apparently connects to that exchange and we dindt get blinked yet :(

no Bling Bling Blink here either and i KNOW my line is capable of 1 Mb/s

i still on 265k, but my connection has always been at 1mbps, just capped on the other end...

Well I got Blink since Friday, and it's been interesting.

I started off with the 1mb package, but a technician came on Saturday and upgraded us to 2.

Crazy speed compared to what we're used to.



Until about an hour ago, when the speed and the connection itself began to fluctuate.

Now I know this is a new service and growing pains are to be expected.

What I want to know is whether the fluctuations I've been experiencing for the last hour are normal, and what other sort of weirdness I should expect. I realize it began right around 6 pm, which raises a question I'll post in the other thread...

Anyone in the know care to comment?

edit: Yeah, I'm going to assume this is a TSTT problem.
