TIME: 9AM - 8PM
DATE: Saturday 18th August
LOCATION: SAC Meeting Rooms (upstairs), SAC Building, UWI St Augustine Campus.

ENTRANCE FEE: $5
DOOR PRIZE: 2GB USB Flash Drive.

Due to this being a joint effort and a provided space we need to charge a small entrance fee to get inside the building.

Hey guys, was wondering if its a console championship then where the heack are the other consoles. I was so excited when I first heard about the event but now there's no smash brothers. Look at the current poll on trinigamers, smash bros is beating out street fighter 3rd strike by a mile yet this game is in the championship :confused: . Is it that no cubes/x-boxes were available?? Maybe I can help... on the cube side at least.

well, the games and systems were decided based on results from polls which were posted on this website over the last couple of months. These games/systems are what our members voted for.

There would be other games played at the event, on other consoles, but not for the tournaments

Games are using the poll results, while smash may be beating 3rd Strike, 3rd Strike is one of our staple games that gets alot of love from outside of the forum, and is the longest running console game tournament on the TG side of things.

Smash isn't totally out of the question, it all depends on the amount of tvs we get. We aren't in a position to rent any consoles/TVs to facilitate a full blown super tournament. Will keep everyone updated on that.

Is it possible to register on the day Mojo? Also I may be able to organize a cube and Smash. I've been in contact with the GASU president and he has assured me a tv if that is the problem. I believe normal rules in tournaments away are 4 stock, 8mins, any stage that does not do damage to the player.
