The public may be allowed to purchase the 100 dollar laptop ... With an X86 compatible processor ' Geode' and integrated graphics (2d only i think ) , 128 RAM , 512mb storage.... Running linux... With integrated Wi-Fi.... Yall thinking what i'm thinking?
STARCRAFT FTW!!!!!!!!!
With a little tweaking , we should get it to run SC and Quake 2/Unreal based games with software rendering ie. Counterstrike maybe?.... maybe even unreal 2004 : ). Hopefully the interface is gaming friendly .
It won't really take off unless the Ministry of Education adopts it , then it would be a simple matter of distributing the software to all the kiddies and jumping in d sweat.
