Ok i am using the siemens dsl modem and i am also using a dlink wireless router.
I cannot connect to any p2p programs like lime wire, even your mirc chats neither your triniservers.
If i go on dial up it works though.
I know I'm online because messenger is logged in.
I took down all my firewall zone alarm no change.
I'm not sure about the port forwarding when pertaining to a wireless router and then a modem. I tried alot of stuff none seem to work what could be causing this.
I have also removed the wireless router from the connection and i get the same problem.

There are 2 interfaces from which a firewall can cause issues,

1) The dsl modem
2) the router

I recommend you connect to the modem directly and turn of any firewalls on it (if it is that type of modem in which you can configure stuff directly) and then turn of firewalls on your router as well.

If i am off track please reply with model #s for both devices.

Erm...When did you get DSL?
Did it EVER Work?
Check to see if TSTT firewall not on.

yeah if tstt's firewall on their end is enabled, you cant do anything but surf the internet. Call them and find out if this is the case and get them to disable it.

You can email Support@tstt.net.tt Or call.

You don't need any info I think, just the username.
