Maybe you heard it on BBC. Maybe you didn't. BBC did temporarily report that the PC version of Halo 2 is to debut on Windows Vista. Rubbish? I think not. The article which vanished as quickly as it appeared was confirmed in a press release by Microsoft.
So even though the anxiously awaited Halo 2 offers the full single-player campaign and multiplayer maps of the original Xbox version, with the addition of the content in the Multiplayer Map Pack as well as a tool for building and customizing levels; you need Windows Vista.
And incase you were wondering, this isn't the first time Microsoft has locked out gamers from running their games in older versions of Windows.
