Hmm yes it will fit into the slot,
I can't say for certain if all 2gb will be available to the camera, it might pickup as a 1gb..

read a spec sheet or email cannon.

The dumping of images maybe hard for them to do as non techie ppl so 2gb isn't really overkill.

In my experience even with 4xAA batteries, the batteries tend to wear out pretty fast.

Like i have said in many other camera threads, once you using AA bateries, get rechargeables and a charger kit. Any other way would just be unpractical.
