Troubleshooting FTP..

So ever since I got a router last year, I have been unable to upload using any FTP client..I do everything now using http:// online control panels..or get someone else to do it for me.

Outbound/Inbound services..

Outbound would be my upload right?

Tried all kind of things to get this to work..

..grr!
I have the ftp ports 20/21 open...both inbound and outbound and for the LAN IP of this machine 192.168.0.3

it should not be giving a problem UNLESS there is some nasty firewall on your system or ont he router itself (which i think you may have illiminated with the above command)

I don't have the need to adjust mysystem for outgoing data, only for incoming.
Did you try using IE as your ftp client? or DOS?

ftp sitename.org
or
ftp
open/connect sitename.org

Use the following command to disable your windows firewall quickly, put this in your run

netsh firewall set opmode disable

hit ok

Any kind of script I can run to see?
