The National Institute for Environmental Studies in Tokyo did a numerical simulation of projected greenhouse emissions. They discovered that if current reductions are kept and enforced the Antartic hole in the Ozone layer will begin to contract and may close up completely by 2050.
The hole is currently at it's largest size ever and no healing is expected till 2020 due to the continued use of old cooling systems in the US and Canada.
Proof that only if we all work together, can we make a difference in this world.
