Arite VGA is organising a tournament possibly for the 25th of feb. however I need some feedback on some things before we decide to go through with it or not,

Place: TBA (Most likely VGA)

Date: 25th- If this is too soon to Carnival Mon and tues we can do it on the 18th, that may be too short notice however for some. March is a possibility but there people have exams and whatnot. So gimme some feedback and we'll organise to suit.

Time: 1pm.

Entry fee: $20 <--- debateable. We're suggesting this so that there can be a large pot prize.

Prize: 1st place 80% of pot. 2nd place 20& of pot.

Rules: Best of 3 rounds. We're looking at double elimination. No ex, gold, justice or kliff. Robo-ky is the unbroken one so he's fine. Finals will be best of 3 matches. <--- suggestions welcome to anything here as well

=================================================

Now for the challenge

We're proposing a 3 v 3 v 3. Trinigamers vs Nexus vs VGA.

Rules will follow once all sides agree.

K suggestions?

Only problem I see is that I work on Saturdays :S, I have been out of the loop balancing school/work but I guess I could make an exception for this. I'll see what team I can round up.

Forgot to ask..what platform will this be on PC or PS2 , I know a few persons that play real good on a keyboard and I'm sure they would love to participate.

Also I'm guessing this is gonna be the last #R tourney seeing as how Slash drops on ps2 in April ?

Dunno bout box, I mentioned his name because he knows who plays etc.

There is a tourney coming up in july in st marteen, i think they have a #R tourney as well. This little 'battle' can be used to benchmark our players.

Para that sounds like a plan. I didn't realise GGXX was becoming a more popular regional title. Any details?

Geese I personally have no prob with computers. The other organisers have a few questions and problems.
1) How will two keyboard players face off?

2) I have a dual converter that has a little bit of lag. Only a little bit however. People may complain though. Suggestions?

I'll play around with my comp version and see what I pick up. In the mean time see how many keyboard players you can gather. Strength in numbers right? If you get enough I MAY be able to swing it. However challenge definitely remains ps2.

Janus work wit me here nah lol. Talk to those guys!

As for moving onto Slash. I definitely will, but will everyone else?

Well regardless of what everyone else locally gonna playing after Slash drops the fact still remains that it will be the game that tournaments abroad will be running, and to keep up to date with the international scene I will be running it. Hell I'll even give out copies to the folks with modded ps2s.

The tourney in St. Maarten has the GGXX version pending last time i spoke to one of the officials,it might be Reload it might be Slash, too early to tell.

As far as converter issues go, mine has no lag whatsoever, and i believe a friend of mine has one also that has no lag. I have the radioshack one.

The Keyboard thing might be a little tough to get around I'll do some checking around with some peeps online and get back to you.
