AHL is pleased to announce the official launch of its latest venture AHL TT, signups for this new league will open on Wednesday December 07th, @ 12:01 AM Est. The new league will be sponsored jointly by the Telecommunication Services of Trinidad & Tobago (TSTT) & Omnisoft Computing Ltd.
The league will be open solely to nationals of Trinidad & Tobago both at home and abroad, matches will be played online and will take place in conjuction with Trinigamers on their local gaming server. The initial season will feature sixteen teams competing for a total of TT $650 in prizes.
AHL TT will be a hybrid format league, clans will be competing for a total of five points per war, with the points being allocated as follows. There will be two 1v1 best of 3 series, these will be worth 2 points, one 2v2 best of 3 series which will be worth one point & lastly two dota 3v3 matches which completes the final two points. The dota matches will feature the AP format in game one and finally the AR format in game two.
Full details regarding the rules, team requirements & server information will be released on Wednesday night when signups begin. AHL would like to thank TSTT, Omnisoft & TG for their assistance in helping bring this project to fruition. It is hoped that AHL TT will become as successful as AHL Premiership,which will pave the way for the next step the AHL Masters International in 2006.
