Wireless Net Question

I might be running wireless net @ home.
Question: Don't the routers run on 2.4ghz, and that would screw up my phones which are also on 2.4ghz freq?
Are there any 5ghz+ routers at reasonable prices?

i run both 2.4GHz wireless network and cordless phone in my house without probs.

As a result of this, my neighbour does the same with no problems.

MSI wireless NICs
one usb, one PCI, one PCMCIA,
one realtek built onboard a dell notebook.
both use connexant chipsets.

PHONES:

dad: Radio shack
neighbour: Panasonic

no probs so far (8 months)
