news is that Wildly popular side-scrolling shooter Gradius is coming to the Ps3
this loks very promising

September 16, 2005 - Some of the most exciting news to come out of the 2005 Tokyo Game Show today was that Konami is already developing a brand new PlayStation 3 shooter in its always-popular Gradius franchise. Though no other details about the game were given, Sony Computer Entertainment did confirm that the game exists and that it's coming for the company's highly sought-after system.
In case you've been living under a rock for the last 20 years, Gradius is Konami's highly successful side-scrolling space shooter franchise that's wowed us with its consistently beautiful graphics and high-end challenges.
Needless to say, we want to play Gradius PS3 very, very badly. Hopefully we'll get our chance sometime soon.
