Well my collegues and I have decided to create a business plan fo a marketing/promotions company along with an "all in one" business and technology website.

what suggestions do you have and what expertise do we need to aid us in this venture?

how viable is e-advertising in Trinidad and Tobago and maybe teh Caribbean?

what are some useful links?

constructive criticism only please.....

what are the costs for hosting a very large group of webpages designed for the caribbean in hand?

databases for registered persons which would be like a "caribbean e-passport" for registered sites etc...

how do i go about tackling something like this?

*Xecutiona hopes noone go takin meh ideas and leave me in the dark

i think the web and e-advertising in trinidad is strong on many very public sites, but in general , it overall weak

thus there is much development yet to do in this area , as usual trinidad always playing catch up with the rest of the world

but, the way i see it, because there is much space for growth in the local e-market, i beleive people can capitalize on this .. be the entrpreneur

as for your other questions, i go let someone else answer that :D

CCN is doing alot of E-Sales, E-Advertising... a few sites have seen profits Trinituner, SMSTT, Triniscene and oddly enough 1 guy is involved with all 3 to some extent.

International hosting has become cheap, however you will need to look @ CC processing, SSL and of course a reliable script to showcase your goods.

i will draft something later, but if you on trinituner, contact a man named Dwayne Boodoosingh, he have a lot of experience in this field as well. he is an administrator in trinituner and also a director of Evolve, the web page designers, don't let him know exactly what you want to do though, just ask him about the viability of e advertising and thing.
but for now a nice idea would be creating good relationships with good, unattached webpage developers.
