Asus Dual 7800gt

Take a looky at this thing... now we know there are these kinda cards out there... but Asus wants to spend money on R & D to make a Dual gpu 7800GT... I wonder if this works out for them what/if It can do SLI and the performance u could get outta it?

i have ramdonly found a mod to make it sli

now what u need is 3 feet of copper wire (best ones to use is the tstt phone lines)

a ver big solder iron with the fattest tip possible

a car battery to supply enough 12 volt de dam ting needs

and connect the wires as shown below

It is indeed possible, if anything that would be special would be running them in SLI

ck, the main difference here is as follows

2 6600GT on one card <--------weak
2 7800GT on one card <--------the fourth's ultimate jutsu.

Thas why ppl so skeptical. We'll have to wait and see how the benchies look.

Ok wait... notice 2 things... the pics above have 2 diff colour PCBs but small thing... because of the proprietory bracket at the top of the card... SLI not looking like an option... if anys I figure SLI IS already going on since they could just bridge the two cores IN the PCB... NOW if they do offer an SLI option externally for 2 such cards... making it a quad core BEAST then that would be THE most powerful justu right now and prolly for some time.
