Tstt Woes..again

So my dad got something deliverd from TSTT on friday, that gave us discounted prices on certain phone models if we migrate to GSM.
The discount was in the neighbourhood of 1500 if I remember right.

So , I said to heck with it, I'll pay the $500 for a $2000 phone and try this gsm postpaid.
The letter said all phones on the same account would receive the discount...( we have 4 phones, under the same account...or so we thought)

So after waiting 3.5 hours, we where told that it is only for POSTPAID 'accounts', and regardless of weather all the phones are registered to the same individual, they are on 'different' accounts.

TSTT real full of it...

And to make this evening more interesting, when they checked it we were informed that our phone was 'cloned'.
Why couldn't tstt call us and notifiy us of this?
Even worse, the customer service rep told us "It doesn't look as if your phone was used, so there is no need to pursue it , the person probably just did it and never bothered"
wtf?
We were getting 1500 bills, but my dad just attributed it to my mom using it like crazy...and now this ass at tstt is trying to save himself a little bit of work and say that 'no one used it'.

I would be really glad if they go out of busniess..

but knowing your phne cloned and not telling u nothing real pushing it, that is more proof that tstt doh care bout your grass and only taking your money and delevering tstt.

in the coming year tstt gonna get what coming to it, if they expect customer loyalty they really full of them selves

My dad had his phone cloned as well, he had to go thru some mechanisms to get it fixed... Mainly talk to TSTT ppl...

I understand what TSTT means when they say 'same person name but different accts' thing you mentioned above. I think that refers to the corp plans.

They told us some garbage about how , even though it's under the same company, they classify accounts in terms of postpaid/prepaid which is certainly misleading.

um....dinesh...tht is for the corporate plan....do you really expect to get a discount on prepaid phones?


we got that before gsm came out fully and i had my phone "testing" their corporate billing

if you want a prepaid phone jus buy it out of tstt and u wud get it MUCH cheaper

but the cloned thing should really have been investigated....sigh tstt really are n00bs yes...

Prepaid-damn straight.

Ironically, I find TSTT service getting WORSE.

They errect a mc GSM tower practically next door to my house over a month and change now and everybody in the neighbourhood complaining that no reception on dey phone for over 3 weeks now.
