Here it is folks, these are the proposed rules for the Guilty Gear XX #Reload 3v3 Team Tournament. Please read them and ask any questions you may have concerning them.

presenting...

GGXX #R
.::3 on 3 Team Battle::.
Teams of 3 will compete against each other ala KOF style. When all 3 members from one team is defeated that team is eliminated.

::Rules::

1) Teams must have a collective group name.
2) Each team member must state in advance specifically which character they will be using for the entire tourney . This will ensure that no "counter" characters are chosen. Participants MUST use the characters they signed up with. Any team found to not be using the characters they signed up with will be disqualified.
3) No 2 members on a team can use the same character. This seeks to promote diversity within teams. Eg Team ABC Sol/Sol/Chipp <-- not allowed.

::Team Game specifics::

* NO EX Characters or BOSSES
* Macro buttons are allowed
* Normal time limits
* Each game will be a best 2 of 3 rounds.

.::Other Info::.

This will be held on PS2 and if need be PC also. Incase you're wondering YES we do have #Reload for PS2.

PC games will be for the gamepad impaired, however the issue of keyboard vs keyboard has not been resolved. If it is not resolved and should the situation arise then one person WILL be required to use a pad. The method used to decide who gets the pad will be addressed at some point before the tourney. Please stay tuned for this info.

You may use your own pads/arcade sticks should you so desire. If not one will be provided for you.

Any questions may now be asked here.

The rules sound great!

Are there any differences in teh PC and PS2 versions of the game?

The only difference is that the PS2 version includes the Korean soundtrack, other than that they are identical.

sounds cool, buh rb you doh think the macro buttons being allowed won't make it too easy for some ppl to do infinites/loops ?

Not at all, pressing 3 buttons on a pad to Roman Cancel is tough, you can't stop ppl from doing loops if they want to, they aren't super game breaking. Infact the only way some characters stand a chance at above intermediate level is loops.

#Reload probably has 2 infinites i know of , with many loops for different characters. Eg Sol's Dust Loop, Slayer's Bite Loop. however they have been toned down alot. Sol's Loop is now much harder than in normal XX and the setup to get it is now somewhat different for each character. Slayers bite loop will stop connecting after 8 hits for about 25% of damage.

Macros stay :)

Sounds great. I have a few questions though.
1) Will robo-ky be allowed? I know definitely not for regular X2 but #R r-ky is alot more balanced no?

2) When???

Uhh that's it for now.

Sounds like a plan. I gave up on looking for a #R for ps2 and just got it for pc so good job getting your hands on one. Getting my converter next week which hopefully won't be lagging much.
Oh another thing came to mind. In getting characters for each player before hand shouldn't there be some confidentiallity? As in people simply email it or put it on a registration page? However it's a great idea to avoid counter characters so good call on that one.

What's the registration cost. And what's the maximum time frame for the event?

I suggest that the players not suck.
