Before i say anything i would just like to ask that anyone looking to post about a movie that they think should be anticipated should probably ensure that they include some type of brief description about the movie as well as a link to some official information about it, thank you.
Movies that you should probably keep an eye out for:
Firstly, there’s Valiant (http://www.valiantmovie.co.uk/ ), a CG movie based on carrier pigeons during WW2. The movie is done by a British film company, and unless I’m mistaken, this is the first time a film such as this has emerged from that side of the Atlantic. The film boasts support from a cast that includes the likes of Ewan Mcgregor, John Cleese, Tim Curry and John Hurt. The movie seems to be aimed at the under 15 age group, but I’m certain that it will still manage at least a few smiles, if not chuckles, from all of us. It should be noted that the producer of the Shrek series did some work here as well.
Then there’s one that’s making me swear under my breath, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. (http://adisney.go.com/disneypictures/narnia/index.html ) I should point out that the only reason I want to curse is because for 3 months I walked past the enter narnia book set in gulf city mall and I always wondered whether or not to purchase it… I never bought it. Well at least now I can see the movie. The world of Narnia is home to many tales of fantasy, this movie will explain the first in this critically acclaimed book series (written by C.S. Lewis) and will more than likely gain a following that will rival the Harry Potter crowd at movie houses, with the exception of Rupert Everet, who voices a fox, none of the actors’ names rang any bells. Expect this movie to offer some emotional scenes in a world filled with the likes of Griffons and mermaids this Christmas.
But hey check out the sites (preferably if you have broadband) and take a look at these movies for yourselves.
