    Step 1: Activate the Console

You will need to activate the console before you can enter the commands to enable net_stat

    1.  Go to your game Library on Steam and right click on DotA 2 and open Properties

    2.  Once your Properties tab is up and running, click on Set Launch Options

    3.  After the Set Launch Options tab opens up, type in -console -novid and press OK

    4.  Doing so will allow you to access the console inside the game by pressing ~ (the tilde key) (novid shortens startup time)

Step 2: Using the Net Graph Command

Once you have your game running, press ~ to activate your console. After the console shows up, type in the following command to activate your Net Graph that will allow you to view information such as ping, frames per second and more.

    net_graph 1

You may find that Net Graph is being displayed too large, potentially blocking your field of view. Here are some suggested settings to reduce and reposition Net Graph

    net_graphheight 64

    net_graphinsetbottom 437

    net_graphinsetleft 0

    net_graphpos

    net_graphproportionalfont 0

    net_graphtext 1

     net_graphinsetright -30   (1920x1080)

     net_graphinsetright - 75  (16 80x1050)
