In keeping with our recently new slogan of "Connecting Trinidad and Tobago's Gamers", we have decided to place more focus on this aspect of connectivity which has been disparate. Thousands of local gamers play online on various servers. However, only a few hundred are active and connected to each other. Gaming with other locals is a really fun experience.
We need everyone to do their part and post their tags for the various online gaming services. Please let me know if I missed any. Please add your tags to the lists for Steam, Battle.NET 2.0, Xbox 360 LIVE!, PS3, Wii and Garena.
Trinigamers is the premier gaming organization in Trinidad and Tobago. Our purpose is relatively simple, to promote electronic sports while at the same time maintaining the fun and easy going environment associated with cyber-gaming. Our organization has done this via the hosting of tournaments, both offline and online which cover the various genres and platforms that are popular internationally and locally.
While a non-profit organization, we have dedicated ourselves to educating and informing our members on the latest happenings in the competitive arena. We provide an avenue for members to grow and mature into seasoned competitors capable of competing with the world's best cyberathletes.
TriniGamers is run by a dedicated group of volunteer staff, who hail from all avenues of society; business, law, medicine and of course the IT field.
Join up, post on the forums, start playing on one of our local severs or sweat in the game Arcade.

This is the coolest new feature to hit standard (non-motion) controllers since rumble packs. Bummed about the shallow D-pad on the Xbox? Now with the new wireless controller a simple twist will raise the D-pad to more of a cross.
Who needs George Hotz anyway? A USB modchip for the PS3 has emerged from the mists this morning, purporting to allow the dumping of games onto nearby storage -- the console's internal HDD and external drives are both a-ok -- as well as the subsequent playing of said games without the need for the original disc. Could it be the backup/piracy nirvana Sony loyalists have been awaiting for so long? Well, there's a video showing the little USB device apparently working, and the PSX-Scene team say they have personally verified that it does what it claims to do, but skepticism remains advisable here. The PS3 has been a fortress of hacker unfriendliness, so we'd rather kick back, relax, and wait for some braver souls than us to do the testing. For now, the video awaits after the break.
The product description and FAQ from various websites:
Q: What firmware version does PS JailBreak it work on?
A. It apparently works on a couple of old firmware verisons, but it was designed for the latest firmware version 3.41
Q. Does PS Jailbreak allow you to dump ps2 games, ps1 game, Blu ray movies?
A. No, just PS3 games.
Q. Does PS JailBreak allow every game to work?
A. Apparently 150 games have been tested, and they all work. If a game happens to have 1 file over 4gb the program will not be able to rip the game onto the harddrive. Apparently the worl around is to dump it on an internal hardrive
Microsoft's revision of the Xbox 360 brought results in July when the console topped the U.S. video game sales ranking for the first time in three years, according to figures from NPD Group.
The Xbox 360 sold 443,500 units during the month, which is more than double the number sold in the same period a year earlier. The revised Xbox 360 takes advantage of advances in chip and component technology and is slimmer than the original model. It includes several other upgrades, such as faster Wi-Fi and more USB ports.
The Xbox 360 was well ahead of Nintendo's Wii, which sold 253,900 units, and the PlayStation 3, which at 214,500 units sold less than half as well as the Microsoft console.
At this point it is safe to say that the PS3 will not catch up to it's competitors this generation still being outsold by the Wii which is well past it's peak. Also worth noting is that pro players are choosing the 360 for it's intrinsic advantages.
Runic Games have announced their sequel to one of the sleeper hits of 2009. Inspired by Blizzard's Diablo series, Torchlight has brought a new playing experience to fans. The most demanded feature has been included, co-op multiplayer!
