Kombat begins again with Mortal Kombat 11
NetherRealm’s Ed Boon took to The Game Awards stage to reveal Mortal Kombat 11. The game will launch on April 23, 2019 on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. This is the first time since Mortal Kombat Armageddon that a Mortal Kombat game is available on a Nintendo console.
The all new Custom Character Variations gives you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own,’ which is similar to what the developer did with Injustice 2.
The new game showcases every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. The game features a roster of new and returning fighters from previous Mortal Kombat games.
The game’s story is expected to continue where Mortal Kombat X left off. We hope that the cinematic story is just as epic as Mortal Kombat X.
Many expected an announcement at E3 2018 but it never came. Then a voice actor started tweeting about it, and all but confirmed its appearance at the awards a few weeks ago.
