As part of their efforts at San Diego Comic Con to promote the upcoming movie, Blizzard has released two promotional images for Warcraft. The promotional images features Vikings’ Travis Fimmel as the stoic human Anduin Lothar and Toby Kebbell as the orc Durotan.
In addition to the posters, fans at Comic Con were treated to five minutes of footage from the movie which featured a blend of CGI and story elements. Unfortunately for us regular folk, we will have to wait until later this year for the first trailer.
Written and directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and co-written by Charles Leavitt, the upcoming Warcraft film, which hits theaters June 10th, 2016, is set in Azeroth during the the earliest encounters between humans and orcs, don’t expect to see the Lich King in this one.
