The Video X Games is the Caribbean's most exciting Video Game Tournament, with gamers from all across the Caribbean and the world travelling to go against the best gamers St. Maarten and the Caribbean have to offer.
This three day-event will not only target video game players and spectators from Saint Maarten but also from around the Caribbean region with its large gaming communities, which is estimated to be over 4.5 million avid gamers strong, about 12% of the 41 million Caribbean population.
To this day, the last Video X Games in 2006 has been the biggest international gaming competition in the Caribbean, attracting over 60 international gamers from countries such as Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados, Puerto Rico and Canada, just to name a few. Gamers from other islands are happy to come to St. Maarten for the competition due to the overall attractiveness of the island, with our island being the 2nd most popular intra-caribbean tourist destination only behind Puerto Rico. Therefore, the winners will be considered the ‘Best of the Best’ in the Caribbean region.

Getting to VXG
Presently there are two carriers that fly to St. Maarten, please take note of information listed below.
Caribbean Airlines -
Flies on Wednesday & Saturday, if attending VXG attendees travelling by CAL will have to stay 1 week. Ticket prices range between $475-$550USD
LIAT -
Flies to St. Maarten daily. Ticket prices range between $600-$675USD
Accomodations
VXG is being held at the Sonesta Great Bay Resort. The hotel has put together a package whereby 2 persons can occupy a room for $125USD per night (inclusive of tax) with either a single or double bed.

Trinigamers is a registered non-profit organisation run by a dedicated group of volunteer staff who offer their services pro bono. We hail from all avenues of society; business, law, medicine and of course technology. We host tournaments, leagues and LAN events as a true gamer community with E-sport development in Trinidad and Tobago as our top priority.
We are not interested in personal gain or profits. E-sport as with most sports make a loss. We put in without taking out.

Valve will be allowed to use DOTA commercially with it's DOTA 2 game. Blizzard will preserve non-commercial use of DotA, presumably with regard to custom map makers for Warcraft III and Starcraft II. No definite answer on future Blizzard titles but it is implied. Blizzard will rename their upcoming "Blizzard DOTA" to Blizzard Allstars.
The companies do not plan to discuss the terms of the agreement beyond today's announcement. However it's fairly obvious that either Blizzard was looking at a losing case or Valve paid up for scooping the premier Action RTS title.
"Both Blizzard and Valve recognize that, at the end of the day, players just want to be able to play the games they're looking forward to, so we're happy to come to an agreement that helps both of us stay focused on that," said Rob Pardo, executive vice president of game design at Blizzard Entertainment.
Valve president Gabe Newell added: "We're pleased that we could come to an agreement with Blizzard without drawing things out in a way that would benefit no one. We both want to focus on the things our fans care about, creating and shipping great games for our communities."
Well it isn't any surprise that a lot of companies are offering up bundles now recently we saw EA post up their "indie" bundle available on steam as well.
